Canadian Surface Combatant

Canada’s Department of National Defence is currently developing a new generation of Canadian military ships, and MDA is designing the Electronic Warfare system. Our job is to improve the intelligence and warning systems that protect the men and women of the Royal Canadian Navy during security, counter-terrorism, counter-piracy, search and rescue, and peacekeeping operations around the world.

We stand on guard by sea

MDA is under contract to Lockheed Martin Canada as the Electronic Warfare Suite systems integrator for the Canadian Surface Combatant. In this role, MDA will be responsible for the overall integration of the sensor suite and delivery of multiple ship sensors.
