GOVERNMENT OF CANADA EXTENDS MDA SPACE CONTRACT PROVIDING CONTINUOUS SPACE-BASED MARITIME AWARENESS AND SECURITY

June 30, 2025 (BRAMPTON, ON) – MDA Space Ltd. (TSX:MDA), a trusted mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry, today announced a contract extension with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (“DFO”) to provide critical and continuous maritime satellite surveillance data and analytics services for dark vessel detection. This amended contract, which extends the original agreement announced in 2023, aligns with commitments outlined in the recent G7 Foreign Ministers’ Declaration on Maritime Security and Prosperity, reinforcing Canada’s leadership in promoting safe, secure and sustainable maritime operations.

MDA SPACE REOPENS OPERATIONS AT DAVID FLORIDA LABORATORY

June 27, 2025 (Brampton, ON) – MDA Space Ltd. (TSX:MDA), a trusted mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry, today announced it has taken over operation of the David Florida Laboratory (DFL) in Ottawa, ensuring this world-class testing facility remains open to industry and under sovereign Canadian control. The facility houses essential infrastructure that enables the assembly, integration and testing of entire spacecraft and satellite systems and subsystems to ensure their ability to operate in the harsh conditions of space. No other facility of its kind is commercially available in Canada.

MDA SPACE AWARDED $60 MILLION FOR NEXT PHASE OF RIVER-CLASS DESTROYER

June 24, 2025 (BRAMPTON, ON) – MDA Space Ltd. (TSX:MDA) today announced that it has been awarded next phase contracts for the delivery and integration of two critical sensor systems for the River-class Destroyer (RCD) program. The contracts, valued at $60 million, are for the delivery and integration of sensor systems for the first three ships that improve situational awareness and protect the ships against laser and optical guided threats.

MDA SPACE AND SATIXFY ANNOUNCE AMENDED MERGER AGREEMENT FOR INCREASED CONSIDERATION AND POSTPONEMENT OF SHAREHOLDER MEETING

May 20, 2025 BRAMPTON, ON and REHOVOT, Israel - MDA Space Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a trusted mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry, and SatixFy Communications Ltd. (NYSE American: SATX), a leader in next-generation satellite communication systems based on in-house-developed chipsets, today announced that they have agreed to amend the terms of the Agreement and Plan of Merger (the “Merger Agreement”), dated April 1, 2025 among SatixFy Communications Ltd. (“SatixFy”) , MDA Space Ltd. (“MDA”) and certain subsidiaries, pursuant to which MDA agreed to acquire SatixFy in an all-cash transaction for US$2.10 (without interest) per ordinary share, which implied an aggregate equity value for the Company of approximately US$193 million.

BRINGING THE MOON TO THE CLASSROOM: MISSION CONTROL TEAMS WITH MDA SPACE TO INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION OF CANADIAN SPACE LEADERS

Mission Control and MDA Space, recognized Canadian space industry leaders, have teamed up to bring a lunar rover driving experience to Canadian students from coast to coast to coast. The Rover Driving Academy is a distinctive educational program available free of charge to students in grades six to nine across Canada. Designed to teach students about space science, robotic exploration, and team building, the activity culminates with a hands-on immersive experience controlling a real lunar rover prototype in Mission Control’s Moonyard.

MDA SPACE TO ACQUIRE SATIXFY COMMUNICATIONS

April 1, 2025 (BRAMPTON & REHOVOT) – MDA Space Ltd. (TSX:MDA), a trusted mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry, and SatixFy Communications Ltd. (NYSE American: SATX), a leader in next-generation satellite communication solutions based on in-house-designed chipsets, today jointly announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement (the “Transaction Agreement”) under which MDA Space will acquire all outstanding shares of SatixFy in an all-cash transaction for US$2.10 per share. The transaction, which represents an equity value for SatixFy of approximately US$193 million (approximately C$278 million), is expected to further enhance the end-to-end satellite systems offering of MDA Space as demand for next generation digital satellite communications continues to accelerate.

February 10, 2025 (BRAMPTON, ON) – MDA Space Ltd. (TSX:MDA), a trusted mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry, today announced that it has signed a definitive contract with Globalstar Inc. (NYSE American: GSAT) to be the prime contractor for the satellite operator’s next generation low Earth orbit (LEO) constellation, with a total contract value of approximately $1.1 billion*.
