MDA Announces Resignation of Director

Vancouver, BC - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. ("MDA" or the "Company") (TSX: MDA), a global communications and information company, today announced that Daniel Friedmann, its former president and chief executive officer, has resigned from its Board of Directors effective today. Mr. Friedmann served as chief executive officer of MDA between 1995 and May 2016.
Robert Phillips, chairman of MDA’s Board said, “We all want to thank Dan for his contributions to the Board and MDA over these many years. We also want to acknowledge his assistance in managing a very smooth leadership transition with Howard Lance, our president and chief executive officer.”
Dan Friedmann said, “I will continue to be available to advise Howard, the Board and Company management going forward. I believe the Company is well positioned for continued success and prosperity and look forward to their future achievements.”
