Greenley recognized for executing on an ambitious space commercialization growth strategy

Nov. 22, 2024 (Brampton, ON) – MDA Space Ltd. (TSX:MDA), a trusted space mission partner to the rapidly expanding global space industry, today announced that its CEO Mike Greenley has been named Canada’s 2024 CEO Innovator of the Year by The Globe & Mail’s Report on Business magazine.

Mr. Greenley was recognized with the prestigious annual award for “a CEO whose vision and guidance has been instrumental in the successful creation and commercialization of a truly disruptive product or service, and/or who has pioneered a ground-breaking way of doing business.”

Under Mr. Greenley’s leadership, MDA Space is developing a suite of market-disrupting next-generation commercial space products to address three areas with the strongest growth potential – communication satellites and networks, Earth and space observation, and space exploration and infrastructure. The company’s commercialization efforts are ideally timed to further expand its leadership in the global space economy that is forecast to ramp from US$630 billion today to US$1.8 trillion in the next decade.
