MDA to provide communication antenna subsystems for EUTELSAT-5WB

Vancouver, BC - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. ("MDA" or the "Company") (TSX: MDA), a global communications and information company, today announced that it has received an Authorization to Proceed from Airbus Defence and Space for the provision of multiple communication antenna subsystems to be integrated into the EUTELSAT-5WB communication satellite. The full contract is expected to be valued in excess of CA$3 million.
MDA's antenna solutions cover a wide range of requirements to address single and multi-satellite programs in commercial, space, military and airborne markets.
