MDA to provide communication subsystems

SAN FRANCISCO - Maxar Technologies, (formerly MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.), (“Maxar” or the “Company”), (NYSE/TSX: MAXR), a global communications and information company providing technology solutions to commercial and government organizations worldwide, today announced that MDA, a business unit of Maxar Technologies, has signed a contract valued at approximately US$9 million for an undisclosed customer. MDA will provide two communication subsystems that will increase the time LEO satellites are in communication with the ground and improve the amount of data that could be transferred.
