Mike Greenley named 2024 Innovator of the Year

We are excited to share that our CEO, Mike Greenley, has been named Canada’s 2024 CEO Innovator of the Year by The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business Magazine.

Every year, Globe and Mail Report on Business selects Canada’s top business leaders from across the country, reflecting the best of Canadian corporate leadership, innovation, vision, and responsibility.

This award recognizes “a CEO whose vision and guidance has been instrumental in the successful creation and commercialization of a truly disruptive product or service, and/or who has pioneered a ground-breaking way of doing business.”

Under Mike’s leadership, MDA Space is developing a suite of market-disrupting next-generation commercial space products to address three areas with the strongest growth potential – communication satellites and networks, Earth and space observation, and space exploration and infrastructure. The company’s commercialization efforts are ideally timed to further expand its leadership in the global space economy that is forecast to ramp from US$630 billion today to US$1.8 trillion in the next decade.
